Comet is a new-age Indian sneaker brand built on storytelling, drop culture, and strong Gen-Z relevance. Every Comet launch is designed to be more than a product release—it’s a cultural moment. At the Indian Sneaker Festival 2025, Comet aimed to translate this philosophy into a physical experience that felt intuitive, fun, and deeply shareable, while staying true to its clean, contemporary brand language.

The Challenge

The brief came with multiple layers of complexity:

  • A very small stall space that still needed to feel immersive and uncluttered
  • A requirement for the stall to showcase the buyer journey, not just display sneakers
  • A clean, mart-like aesthetic that felt instantly familiar yet unexpected in a sneaker festival environment
  • Strict budget constraints, demanding quality production without overspending
  • Tight timelines and the need for vendor optimization and contingency planning
  • A desire to embed culture and collaboration, including a playful Bombay Sweet Shop × Comet integration.

The challenge wasn’t just to stand out—it was to do so intelligently, culturally, and efficiently.

The Solution

Crewtangle conceptualised and executed a Supermarket-inspired sneaker stall, transforming the act of browsing sneakers into an everyday, instinctive experience.

The design treated sneakers like essentials—placed on clean, supermarket-style shelves that visitors could naturally explore. The layout guided footfall through Comet’s buyer journey: discovery, exploration, and decision, all within a minimal footprint.

To ensure execution excellence:

  • Production was optimized through close vendor coordination, balancing quality with cost
  • Multiple Plan B material and sourcing options were prepared to avoid budget overruns
  • The right colours, fixtures, and elements were procured strategically to maintain visual consistency without excess
  • The Bombay Sweet Shop × Comet collaboration added a cultural layer—blending Indian nostalgia with sneaker culture and creating highly shareable moments

Every element was intentional. Nothing was ornamental. The space worked hard—visually, narratively, and commercially.

The Comet supermarket stall emerged as one of the most talked-about experiences at Indian Sneaker Festival 2025.
