About the Client

Paperworld Mumbai 2026 is a premier B2B trade fair
for stationery, office supplies, and art materials, held from February 26–28,
2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC). Co-located with Gifts World Expo, the event brought together 200+ brands across segments like Back to School, Office Essentials, and Art & Craft Supplies, with special focus zones on Sustainability, EduToys, and Latest Trends.

The Objective

With multiple brands showcasing within a single large-format
exhibition, the objective was to design and execute distinct stall environments that reflected each brand’s identity while maintaining high visual engagement and functional efficiency. Each stall needed to stand out individually, yet contribute to the larger, high-energy ecosystem of the event.

The Core Idea: Curiosity Through Design

The central idea was to spark curiosity at every touchpoint. Each stall was conceptualised as an invitation to explore—using design as a storytelling tool to draw visitors in encourage interaction, and create memorable brand experiences in a crowded exhibition space.

The Design Process : Crewtangle approached the project with a multi-brand, multi-experience mindset:. Developed unique visual identities for each stall—Miracle, Green Crayon Packaging, Ekatra, Petals Notebook, Cricut, and Rainbird Umbrellas 

 
Miracle
  • Designed a bold, high-visibility stall using bright yellow and red branding to attract attention from a distance
  • Created clean wall-mounted shelving to neatly showcase product ranges like crayons and stationery
  • Added a central interaction table for the seamless visitor flow
  • Used illuminated branding and strip lighting to enhance visibility and recall
  • Kept the layout open and inviting, allowing easy visitor movement and engagement

 

Green Crayon Packaging

  • Built a green-forward visual identity to strongly communicate sustainability
  • Designed continuous wall shelving to display a wide range of packaging bags
  • Integrated backlit counters and branding panels for a polished, modern look
  • Included functional seating areas within a compact space
  • Used plants and eco cues to reinforce the brand’s sustainable positioning 

 

Ekatra

  • Created a minimal, premium white space to let handcrafted products stand out
  • Designed layered display levels (shelves + central table) for better product visibility
  • Incorporated warm spotlighting to highlight textures and materials
  • Used clean branding with overhead signage for subtle yet strong presence
  • Maintained an intimate, gallery-like layout encouraging closer product interaction

 

Petals Notebook

  • Developed a vibrant purple-themed stall aligned with brand identity
  • Designed symmetrical wall shelving to display notebooks in an organised manner
  • Created a central reception/demo desk for visitor interaction 
  •  Created a pillar inspired by the design of Petals notebook pages, featuring a handwritten-style quote and additional creative elements.
  • Integrated digital screens and storytelling panels to communicate brand and product range

 

Cricut

  • Designed a demo-friendly stall layout to highlight product functionality
  • Created dedicated zones for live demonstrations and interaction
  • Used a clean, modern aesthetic aligned with the brand
  • Ensured clear visibility of machines and applications
  • Encouraged hands-on engagement and exploration

 

Rainbird Umbrellas

  • Designed a stall focused on umbrella display and visibility
  • Creatively positioned products across the space for visual interest
  • Built an open and accessible layout for easy navigation
  • Used functional display units to highlight product range Maintained a clean and first design approach

 

 

The Execution : From concept to on-ground delivery, execution was driven by precision and adaptability:
